Brent Radcliff


Brent Radcliff most recently served as Lead Intellectual Property and Technology Counsel for a Fortune 200  company. His primary responsibility was providing practical advice and creative solutions to assist and build  partnerships with business clients in making informed decisions involving intellectual property and technology  related matters globally.

As Lead IP/IT Counsel, Brent’s primary responsibilities included developing, maintaining and enforcing the  company’s intellectual property (“IP”) rights worldwide; assessing availability of new marks; and collaborating  with technology, branding, and marketing, business units to promote the discovery, development, management  and protection of new ideas. Brent also drafted, negotiated, and advised clients on sponsorship and marketing  agreements, SaaS agreements, software license agreements, and other technology and commercial  agreements.

Prior to serving as in-house counsel, he served as an attorney for a national firm where he concentrated on brand  management, trademark prosecution, intellectual property counseling, litigation, and enforcement. Before that, Brent worked for several years inside the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and Customs and Border Protection  on IP registration and enforcement matters.

Brent holds leadership roles in the Gate City Bar Association, Atlanta IP Inn of Court, U.S. Intellectual Property  Alliance, and International Trademark Association. He finds ways to create programming for the training and  betterment of fellow attorneys and the community at-large. He also serves on the Advisory Board of the Georgia  Lawyers for the Arts and the Board of Directors for KidsGym USA, an organization which aims to provide life  skills to children in the Metro Atlanta area through gymnastics.

Brent is a proud member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. and holds a Juris Doctorate and Bachelor’s degree  from Howard University. He is admitted to the State Bars of Georgia and Maryland.
